Fireworks and Special Effects

Special Pyrotechnic Services:

· TV work for Wild Dream Films Ltd. – June/July 2008. Working together with Creative Combustion Consultants (C3 Ltd.), Darkstar Pyrotechnics provided expertise for three projects for the series “Ancient Discoveries” on the US History Channel

· Development and testing of TV/Movie special effects with Creative Combustion Consultants (C3 Ltd.)

· First construction in the UK of the American designed “Go-Getter” self-propelled star – 5 inch shells in green and sparkling pink, 6 inch shells in red

· First construction in the UK of the “Lampare” aerial fireball effect – 3 and 5 inch shells

· First construction in the UK of the American designed “Fire Flower” star shell with fireball centre – 8 inch shells

· Construction of 4, 5 and 6 inch heavy salute shells seen here at the Plymouth Firework Competition 2000

· Construction of 2-stage composite display rockets

· Construction of “Solid State” aerial fireball shells – 6 inch

· First place in the Pyrotechnics Guild International annual convention competition, 1996 – Advanced (level 3) mines

· Third place in the Pyrotechnics Guild International annual convention competition, 1997 – Advanced (level 3) mines

· Winner of Best Large Gerb in the Pyrotechnics Guild International convention competition, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002
